to get that out of a 5.3, you're really gonna want a blower. it'll drive better, be less work & have that power on tap all the time as opposed to having to refill a bottle.
i know where you're coming from - i didn't wanna open that can of worms myself - i was gonna do heads, cam, & the works, but after talking with MTI & Tom Henry, it just makes so much more sense to slap a Maggie on it & just about call it a day. if i wasn't in the market for a vette, i'd be getting a TVS 1900

i want a new intake like the fast intake,(dont think it fits)bigger tb,an spacer, ls1 heads,rockers lifters p/rs an a cam,k&n,nelson tune..n 100-200 shot...what u think bout that???

cuz n friends been sayi,slap an procharger on it n k&n n spacer n an a tune n some 3.73s...i might ble out run most trucks around luda....but i have heard that pro,super chargers hurt the motor down the line.....if they dont hurt i would like an pro charger...you can do more with it

nothing wrong with prochargers, but I would rather have a roots style blower or turbo before one...
tvs1900 is a supercharger. whats that mean, hurt the engine? more power = more stress no matter how you do it.
if your friends recommend a spacer then I would really take what they say with a huge grain of salt...

i found an supercharger that makes 460from the 5.3...but its 6000 dollars tho...its features the tvs 1900...but will it hurt my stock 5.3 l8er down the road??
