That is very cool. Congrats on getting it working right. Figures you have to post this video just when I decided to not go forward on my AWD project.

AWESOME! Thats a killer combo.

Just for reference I have 0-60 and 0-100 times from a lot of my logs. on the 11.4 my 0-60 was about 3.3 and 0-100 was close to 8.2. It makes sense... my 1/8 mile was at nearly 95MPH and basically 7.3.

This is the clip of the 11.43 with the 0-60 and 0-100 mentioned above.

In this video I detail out those times and I ran 11.99.

Nice Vids, sounds awesome, based in your log times I should hopefully be in the low 12's. I should be happy with that for a little while...

With a 0-60 at 3.5 seconds I would guess you're damn near an 11 second pass. Of coirse the 0-100 time kind if dictates that more, but 9.7 seems slow if 0-60 was done in 3.5. After all the whipple is known for better top end efficiency than the Maggie is. I just realized when you watch that video on a phone the times don't pop up. I'll have to check back tomorrow and edit my post.

Default Friday the 13th Strikes

This is what I get for saying things were going well. Little surprise when heading to work this morning. Lucky that I wasn't jumping on it and not on the highway.

No, it was the bolt that holds the pulley mount to the front part of the jackshaft that broke. Whipple says they've seen it a couple of times with their high HP COPO Camaro applications and they started using an ARP 2000 bolt for those.

It had to be the heavy duty tensioner that caused it, the original design worked fine on stock Camaro applications but they came out with a heavier duty version for bigger applications.

Hopefully they will warranty it, it should not have failed being it was all their designed components.

Instead of a trophy shelf in my garage I have one that holds parts from catastrophic failures. I think I need a bigger shelf...

That sucks!!! Did the pulley damage? Any other damaged caused by it?

I think I might have the upgrade that bolt myself.

The pulley has a flat spot on a couple of the V Grooves, not sure if I should use it again. I haven't found any other damage yet. The pulley was actually sitting behind the tensioner directly underneath the jack shaft, strange place for it to end up.

Blower is off and being shipped back to Whipple today.
