I saw it with a stock 2009 Denali I tuned... but I forgot about it. It would just randomly die when stopped at an intersection as you first hit the gas to pull away... very weird.

A 3" pulley... Do you have an OD crank balancer? Boost sounds low for that size pulley compared to what I have seen.

It was the weirdest thing. Anytime I went from Drive to park I could drive away initially with basically no hesitation but then as I slowed down it would start stumbling. I could give it gas and it would push through. What I started doing was every time I started driving I would put it in gear drive 10 feet come to a stop let it sit there and sputter for a few seconds and it would clear up and drive perfectly until I would go back to park then drive.

It was pretty embarrassing going to stores especially the auto parts store because people would stop and look as soon as they would hear it start and I would pull away with that sputtering and exhaust popping.

It took one scan using that timing advance config file and there it was plain as day. I'm just glad someone documented it on HPtuners forum otherwise I would have never resolved it.

No I have a stock size ATI damper. That same pulley made 15lbs on my old setup. I just figured the bigger cam and long tubes are eating up the boost.

Mmm...maybe the video of him tuning your vehicle? haha. I wish I was still close to them. They did the original tuning on mine before I moved to Houston. Great honest shop I must add.

That's funny, yea that is a great shop. One of the few that will share information and its not all just about billable hours. He did a great job un-F.U.B.A.R'ing what the hack did that talked me into the ECU conversion.
