Thinking of changing my kit to an AlkyControl as well.

Thanks for the updated pics.

I"m getting ready to install the Alky Conrol kit, UPS has it on the way now. I'm wondering what made you decide to to use 60/40 water/meth. Doesn't Julio suggest 100% meth? ... or am I remembering our one phone conversation incorrectly?

Thanks, Jim

I remember reading something about 100% meth reacting weird with the coating on the Radix rotors. I have also heard that 100% water is not good for them either. Someone recommended the 60/40 mix, and I think they said that it would be better for the rotors, and apparently the water cools the charge better than the meth, but the meth raises the octane. I don't really know a whole lot about the properties of either, so I just went with the mix that was recommended on the board. Plus 60% water makes 5 gallons of meth last a lot longer

I wouldn't be opposed to changing though if there was a good reason to.

Yeah THUNDER........... I love my ALKYCONTROL Kit Julio gives great customer service and his kits come with all the hardware needed. I mounted everything so you can't tell I even have the kit on truck. The pump I mounted on a plate and installed it behind the driverside headlight, and I put a new windshield washer tank to hold my Alcolhol, and than all of the braided lines we put a plastic covering over all of it so it looked factory. The kit turned out great...

Not really, I haven't played with the settings so it starts spraying at 4psi, and that makes it go quick. I usually have the kit turned off because of that. I am going to turn it up to 6psi whenever I get un-lazy, then I'll leave it on all the time and see how long a tank lasts me.

Yeah my kit comes on at 4 psi, I need to reset it so it comes on around 7psi. My truck kind of falls on its face than all of a sudden runs like a bat out of hell.

So how do ya'll adjust when the meth kicks in? Is it a Hobbs switch or is it an electronic controller?
