fixing to swap injectors!
well im finally fixing to swap my injectors out starting tonight. prob wont do a whole lot tonight cuz i gotta work late, but when i get off tomorrow ill be finishing it up. and then off to the dyno sat. for tuning. im hoping to see a significant gain in hp from the last time i went. power started falling off around 5400-5500 rpms, and we couldnt figure it out, but when i got home and did some logs we saw that the injectors were maxed out at 5000rpms, and were at 120% duty cycle at 5500rpms! so im putting the 60#s in and im hoping it will pull to 6000rpms at least, only prob is IATs, i might have to pulley up a bit to keep my IATs down, but then ill lose hp and tq do to lower boost! its just a guessing game. so what do yall think? will it make more power, and do yall think ill run into problems with the IATs? all comments and suggestions are welcome.

KBOB why not just try Alkycontrol (METH) It should lower youre IATs I dont think you will need bigger injectors also. I am not a genius with this maybesome one else will chime in with more knowledge with these Alkycontrol systems.

I guess you are still a 5.3? That 2.7 on the radix may be more of a henderance than help as far as that whole more hp/tq thing goes. You have a log to post up? I bet with that 2.7 that blower is CRANKING past effiency around the 5600rpm area anyway. Hence falling off. Obviously 120%IDC is no help, but how was the AFR? If you weren't going lean I'd go with IAT and effiency as your power loss problem. What does your IAT Advance table look like? Pulling 9* of spark due to high IAT's at 5600 will make it fall on it's face.
Breeze, remember Hagerstown, I couldn't break 13.7 cuz my IAT's were pulling 9*. Figured out that deal got back my 9* and ran a 12.7.
