1 he is very very knowledgable about our vehicals
2 he is very willing to help out anyone
3 he's as honest as the day is long

It is because of this I persued Joe into becoming his partner in Leftcoast 32. I look forward to working with Joe in the future as both of our motives are the same, help the customers get what they want with the service they deserve. With all that being said let's talk about the project vehical.

Currently I've got a 2005 SSR Aqua Blur with a 6 speed. Modifications included front/rear sway bars, and lowering the back end. 22" rims on the back with 20's up front. Magnuson 122 supercharger, Dynateck 1 3/4 long tube headers, high flow cats, 3" custom exhaust, magnaflow 3" in/out mufflers, Corvette throtle body, and one of Joe's hot tunes. this produced 518 hp with 515 fpt at the rear wheels.

Seeing Joe's latest build I challenged him with the following. I want to build a fast streat leagal SSR that will perform with his Trailblazer SS. But doing it on Pump gas. For the most part Joe has it all set up, I only made a few of the decesions. Increased the the engine size to 7 liters, decide on the style of rims to put on this bad boy as the current meats ain't going to do the trick.

The engine was removed on Thanksgiving weekend when Joe and his significant other made the trek to my neck of the woods( A 5 hour drive ). Like I said Joe is willing to go out of his way to help anyone. He arrived Friday afternoon, he did a tune on the wife's 2006 Z06 corvette, then we dinner and got to bed early as the next day started early.

At 6am we went for a Starbucks run. Then the fun began and 12 hours later the engine was out, striped down to nothing, and ready for him to take back to California. The only time I remember us stopping was for lunch. Joe has a big bladder as he never took a pit stop, but drank coffee all day long.

The next day was pretty much cleaning up the mess from the day before and tweaking the tune on the wife's car some more. The other bit of criteria given to Joe was the SSR has to be faster than the Z06.

I will turn it over to Joe at this point to give his information on this build as he is much better suited to talk about the technical details of this build.

Thanks Joe for all you've done up to this point and all I'm going to put you through in the near future.

We are building it for my partner. We actually just got started on it. 2005 SSR 6 Speed with Forged 427, MP122HH and 10 psi of boost.

The stock LS2 block was taken over to Steve at Race Engine Developement for the Darton Dry Sleeves, Notching the block for the 4" Stroke and Doweling the Main Caps. The block was bored to 4.120 by Steve and will be finish honed by Kenny Dutweiller to 4.125. It is up at Kenny Duttweiler's Performance right now being built for boost with all forged internals.

We will be using a set of the Edelbrock 245 WCCH Heads from Richard and the same cam as is in my TBSS.

We are putting the 122HH on with 10psi of boost on pump gas. It should be a Torque Monster. The Wheels will be custom made Boze Wheels, 17x5 front and 17x11 rear with the M&H Drag Radials. The Fronts are 185/55x17 and the rears are 390/40x17.

We are shooting for around 600RWHP and 700RWTQ on Street Gas. The Only way I could think of to hook all of that with a 6 speed was with the biggest Drag Radials we could find.

The SSR will have several stages of build like the TBSS (not done yet). This first round will be building the foundation and traction for the rest of the builds.
