Fuel pump priming b/s
#12
When I started this thread I was basing the problem off of JJb's issue he had... Thats who I bought it off of. Since installed with stock injectors it would hold 58 psi at the rails all night long. Then I installed my 44# marine injectors and now pressure falls from 58 to 5 in about 5 seconds, I dont know whats going on? But even showing 5 on the fuel gauge I can crank it over and it starts fine then stays on 60 psi...

Ya, im assuming. But a week prior I put the same injectors in and it held pressure fine. I then removed them and put in my stockers to drive to east houston to see wheatley for tuning my procharger, I then installed the 44lbrs in the parking lot and pressure drops like a rock...

Not sure if the walbros have a check. My bosch does not, I have to turn the key once or twice to get it to pump up sometimes other wise it is usually ok. What is the big problem with doing this?? If it doesnt have a check you can always put one one. It isn't that big of a deal IMO.
