Started the buying process for my turbo setup today... heres the blow off valve and turbo charger.




comparison of 2 turbine housings. the bigger one (1.06 A/R) came mounted as you can see...the smaller one is a .82 A/R




aaaand i got trigger happy (inside of compressor)

When I talked to STS about a remote system they recommended that I run a small intercooler. I think an intercooler could only help and give you more power via colder and denser air.

right on thank you for your reply! you know what though? ive decided to spend the extra money on a custom turbo manifold so im gonna go with a custom upper front mount kit! i'll keep this thread updated with pics. I have a question though for the turbo dudes. For water and oil feed lines to and from the turbo. where did you guys get them and whats the best quality/brand? and what pumps did you use if any?

good call getting the manifolds done. get something installed to pull a little timing when you're in boost. have fun. oh, and that's not even close to being too big for your application. stick the .82 a/r on it for spool. should be almost perfect.

right on. thank you! yeah i'll be getting an MSD BTM to do the retarding ... what do you suggest for oil/water feed lines?

seems how u have the money to spend on a nice turbo build, a built to order custom length return lines seems like right up your alley should be minute compared to the custom turbo manifold u had built

so i swapped the GT30R for a GT35R





extra turbine housing 1.06 A/R


Vortech FMU



Autometer Boost gauge


the turbo manifold is getting fabbed this weekend, still have vacuum line, intercooler, and an extra fuel pump to buy

soon shell be good to go!!

The specs for this turbo are...

compressor ind:61.4 mm, exd:82 mm, 56 trim, .70 A/R
turbine is 68mm, 84 trim, have a .82 A/R and 1.06

the turbine mounted to the turbo is the .82 A/R

some updates... got the intercooler and the turbo manifold ceramic coated
the coated turbofold matches pretty good with the coated JBA header hmm?
