Default Gen 1E intercooled Magnacharger.

I know there was a little talk about this a while ago, but I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this blower to date? I'm really interested in finding some more information about this thing. It looks awesome, and would completely get rid of the power limits on the L31 vortec engine.

As well as I can remember, all of the Gen1-Gen1E kits are 122's. And they are awesome on the right set up. Magnuson has a whole list of the correct cam's and supporting mods for optimum performance.

They are mp112s but you can always upgrade....I've been told that from Magnuson. I'm thinking about putting the 122h on my 383 but I would like something with a little bigger displacement for a blower. The 112 would be nice for a 350.

You may be right. But I know that all of the carb applications are 122's. On a 383 a 122 would be sweet.

Someone out there was planning on doin a little work with one if these this past spring i think??? I have tried to email magnacharger about this blower, but never recieved any emails back with info about it. I would really like to know what kind of work that thing would require to work with my truck. A price would be nice too.

I think the problem is the tune with your truck. The blower will bolt right on, it's all the other stuff to hook up that'll need to be figured out. I don't think there are plans any time soon to build one for those.

Well....the only thing really is the harness.....going from your CPI to a MPFI. However, you can do a Marine intake conversion wiring harness and that part will be done with then get tunercats to tune it. The lines, etc will all have to be custom but it can be done.

That would be a bad S.O.B. if it all worked out.
