Does someone have a stock 02 setup(with the connector shown below) to compare to? Ground the -ve on your voltmeter and probe the TPS1 and TPS2 terminals/wires with the positive lead while manipulating the throttle plate with the key in the run position. I did the testing with the connector off and a couple of wires running between the high/low ref terminals on the connector and corresponding pins on the TB(the LS2 only has 1 high and 1 low ref circuit). Didn't want to damage the wires/connector.

Found out that you won't get the same voltage readings if you have the connector plugged into the TB vs unplugged due to the nature of the circuitry. +VE voltage is seen at the TP sensor terminals of the unplugged connector as well as the corresponding pins on the TB?? Not as easy as just adding resistance. Played with various combinations to match the sensor's outputs to what is described for the 02 78mm TB, but couldn't keep the PCM happy with respect to the TPS1/TPS2 correlation.

Can anyone log the ETC TPSensor 1 & 2 voltage PIDs? All I get is a constant .4V for both.

Bump,
Has anybody figured anything out on this WOT TB not going to a 100% open.
Is HPTuners looking for some sort of parameters that can be adjusted to resolve the TPS % to TB % issue.

Chris at HP Tuners is looking into it as we talk. He asked for a week or two to figure it out for us. I would like to see a new table (TPS% vs ETC%) that can be adjusted to ensure 100% throttle opening.

A couple of TP Volts vs TP % tables could be used to adjust the calibration of the sensors unless this done within the TAC module itself.

Here is a brief explanation of how an ETC setup works: http://www.auto-solve.com/etc.htm

Take a look at the below thread. We are looking for a fix in the programming as the LS2 Computer has the TAC integrated into it. Once they figure out the new table it should also work for the trucks.

I'm ready to pull the motor out of the 78mm TB and stuff it into the 90mm housing with the 90mm blade. It will be alot of small fab work but I am sure it will work with the stock TAC.

I still get varrious voltages that are different to the ones posted. What a PITA this has been.

I don't have a DBW truck to experiment on so I'm having to rely on others to help with this. My suspicion here is the TAC modules, but I'm open to any help or suggestions regarding this matter. If the issue does come down to the TAC module, I'll be happy to replace the ones that are having problems.
I'd like some feedback from everyone as to the engine and year of your trucks and if your experiencing the tb issue.

Mine is a 2003
silverado ss
with a 408

and i am having the same problem of the tb not opening all the way.

i can't get more then 39lbs past the mas and before the swap i was getting 52lbs past the mas.
