IF I waned to add timing out of the hole, why not just add it in the high octane table? Same question back at you......
but if you notice, I am running -25* out of the hole

DAMMITT!!! Now we are slowing leaving my knowledge level. LOL I don't the answer to that Brian besides to my knowledge the difference between high and low octane tables is pretty much knock. So I'd answer why put timing into a table to have knock (or possible knock) put you into a different table when you could do it much safer with the IAT correction table. Besides, activity between those two tables is "learned". I don't know if I like it learning to kill my WOT timing.
But that is only what I "think" I know. Your gonna need Zippy or one of the other tuning guru's to get invloved on this one to make an intelligent conversation from here. LOL Hey I lasted to posts.

if you match the high and low octane table (as I did) then it makes no difference. I am not saying that the way Zippy does it is wrong, I am saying I find it to be a bit more confusing......

I have....well we have learned (Crash Dummy) that the truck left the hole better on street tires that way.......call it traction control if you will....
I was cutting the same or better 60 foot times on street tires than crash dummy was on slicks. The truck ramps up to 22* at about 2800 rpm and stays there (on my track tune). This is not a suggested set up for the street.

What are your 60 foot times?
I was having issues with KR when brake stalling during launches, I pulled a few degrees out and can now brake stall up to 2800 and launch with no KR, haven't been to the track since then though. I don't remember how much timing is there though, it's not a ton, maybe somewhere around 12*? I'll look when I get home.

As far as watching the high and low tables, why watch em? Tune your timing in. Then down in low IAT add in some. Zippy's is confusing? LOL So is the whole -negative timing out of the whole. But, to each his own too, what's not confusing to you is obviosuly confusing to others and vice a versa. But you get the point of the IAT, you just feel why do what you feel is a confusing way to go about something that you can accomplish another direction right?
