Default going from p-1sc to d-1sc

I am thinking about upgrading my procharger p1 to a d1. Procharger has an upgrade program where you can trade your p1 in for a d1 for $1200.

I have been happy with the p1 at 9 lbs of boost so far. My truck is producing decent numbers 413rwhp and 418rwtq. But it still lacks the oh $#%$ factor that I am looking for.

Just wondering what kind of experience those who have made the upgrade have had. Is it worth it?

Oh, and before someone says, "sell the procharger and buy a _______", thats really not what I'm asking. Thanks.

I've got a RPM level 5, hopefully that won't be an issue for a little while.

You can just install a smaller pully and give it try.

Yea, I've been considering that and that may be the way to go. What is the most boost you guys have run on a p1 efficiently.

I've read some other threads where guys have made the upgrade and they were saying the boost comes on a lot sooner with the d1. Just wanted to see if that was the general consensus and if there really is that big of a difference between the two.

Quick Reply: going to p-1sc to d-1sc
