I would do a overdrive crank pulley from Innovative -also 8 rib for future.I've got a Cammed truck pushing 12+.

Yea, I did a little research and figured that out, but thanks for the reply. When would it more beneficial to go with a overdrive crank pulley than with a smaller blower pulley. Seems like going with a larger crank pulley would help prevent against belt slippage.

What is your actuall hp goal? I certainly wouldn't just spin it faster with a bigger crank pulley. That's why you buy a Procharger. You have an option for a bigger blower. Just go to the D1SC if you want more than 500rwhp without having to spin the blower hard.

Well my overall horsepower goal is to keep pushing the limits until I either run out of money or destroy my truck/engine. But I obviously don't want to destroy my engine so I want to make safe calculated upgrades.

I know that you can only spin the p1 so fast. There comes a point when you are just blowing heat and have to pull so much timing that the blower is just not efficient anymore. I personally don't know where that point is on a p1. Thats where I was hoping you guys could chime in.

Still, my initial question still has not been answered. What are the major differences between the p1 and the d1. Does the boost really come on that much sooner? Thanks.

Do the D1,you won't regret it!Then if you still want more pulley that down. The WOW factor will definately be there then!!

There are a few guys on ls1tech that make 600-650 rwhp with the p1. You will need lts, a good cam and heads, bigger more efficient I/C. You may not get that much power, but there is plenty left in the p1 with supporting mods.

That P1SC can make 11-12 psi (192kpa) on a 6rib, stock 6.0 Lq9 with open 1 3/4" longtube headers spinning the blower 88% of max blower rpm. With meth injection the IATs are 50*-60* at 11-12psi (192kpa) on a 75* day with 19* of timing on 91 pump. I,m not sure what the IATs are w/o meth.

I would change your pulley size and boost it more. Before I would dump another 1200 into upgrading... Thats me though...
