Default Good cams for Procharger set-up?

I have a completely stock 5.3 and Yank TT3000 stall running a D1SC.Hit 12# of boost at my 5800rpm shift points.

What cams work well with this set-up for mid and high end power?

Just trying to get the reliable max out of my 5.3.I've heard 02 and newer Z06 cam would be nice.

I was just having this discussion with kbracing96 actually. I personally would run a good low-end torque cam with that setup. That will get you moving off the line, then the boost will keep you moving once the blower spins up. Keep in mind that your boost will build with RPM, and you won't make any boost until at least the mid 2000 RPM area.

That Z06 cam probably would do pretty well.

I have read about a lot of success with the Comp Cams XFI RPM HI LIFT XR265HR-15 cam for guys wanting a little more out of their NA Z06's and supercharged applications. Lots of lobe seperation to hold boost andstill makes good torque till procharger gets up to speed.

Hyd. Hyd. 1400 to 6700 54-424-11 XR265HR 265 271 212 218 .558 .563 115

I've been keeping my eye out for a used one but they don't pop up too often. I heard they pass CA Smog tests with flying colors.

These cams all seem very similiar.Would any of these swaps over stock make the effort worth while?Would the performance really be noticable?Or should I just save my money for a 6.0 longblock?

I think any of the above mentioned cams will be worth it. I picked up 50 hp. with the
LS6 cam and retune. Definately pulls harder above 4000 rpm.

From ProCharger's website...
Cam:
Lobe separation: 112 to 116 degrees Split pattern: Exhaust duration and lift approximately 10 degrees and .010, respectively, greater than intake. Install cam straight up. Contact a cam manufacturer for lifts and durations that best suit your application.

here's a thread w/ good info in it as well...

I run that cam with my Whipple and LOVE it! Lot's of power right off the line even when it was N/A. Comp told me that it would pass CA smog also but I haven't had to do that yet.
