I talked to Damien, he said theres nothing they can do until UPS completes the damage claim. So once they authorize the insurance payment to the dealership, they'll have me ship the stuff that I have back to them and they will send a replacement. Awesome, right? Maybe a fat $2000 bill will teach UPS to be a little more careful with stuff...

Yep, you'd think. But I guess UPS still doesn't know if the missing parts are just missing, or if they are actually lost. So I'm sure they will take as much time as they can trying to find them before they give Yeoman's any cash.
The box with the intake manifold was the one that experienced a "fallout" according to the UPS reps. Pretty fancy lingo to cover up a horrible shipping job.

2 of my 4 boxes are f'd. Ive got a broken nipple on the bypass valve and a bent tube for the heat exchanger. UPS is giving me a runaround, may be a week before they can get some one out here to look at the packages. They want me to leave everything in the boxes and not touch it. We get UPS every single day here at the shop... 90% of the boxes are beat up and about 10% have something broken. Fed Ex has most of our business now.
On a side note, I am really pleased with the way this kit is put together. I cant wait to get this truck back on the road. Check the "projects" section next week, I'll start a little thread.

Man...., I'm sorry to hear that you guys are having so much problems. My boxes were a little banged up when I got them but nothing was broken. To me it looks like someone should of packaged them a little better. The intercoolers should have had the same foam packing as the supercharger had.
I bought a NOS Factory Rear Window Louver off of Ebay a couple of years ago for my 87 camaro I had, when it got here it was all f***ed up, it took UPS about a month before I got the claim paid for.
GOOD LUCK!

Yeah, I have talked to Damien at the dealership. Its not their fault, it wasnt packaged by them. It is UPS. I know I can drill for a brass nipple on the bypass and straighten out the heat ex- but when you pay that much for shipping and insurance you shouldnt have to do anything! We will see what happens. Most UPS insurance claims end up dropped because they take so long.
