Mod with training wheels

Well, it's better than having it enabled. I just don't trust a boosted system switching from 8 to 4 cylinders... I know a guy who has a G8 with a procharger and AFM, and needless to say, its a little quirky. Also the AFM lifters are prone to collapsing...it's good to swap them out.

Come Get Some!!

Digging up an old thread.....
2+ years later and I just bought one of these with less than 5k on it for a song.
Going on my 2002 5.3 in my '86 K5.....
Anyone actually get one of these installed and running in a NBS?
I know I'll need a '07+ water pump, fuel rails, and a custom TB cable bracket (90mm drive by cable).
Am I missing anything else?
The truck will be dyno tuned with a wideband.
Thanks guys!!

If you're using the roush injectors you're going to need adapters. The '99-'06 engines use minidelphi injectors and the gen IV engines use Uscar/EV6 injectors
