Ya, I heard a nasty rummer they locktite them from the factory, so heat is the only way to get them loose, and I'm not gona try that with it on the truck.

I also stripped the head off my trans drain plug on my previous z71. I ended up tack welding a socket to the plug, that worked good but looked terrible.
