I dont know the story behind the 418 being down so I have to ask....Why not sink this money into fixing the 418? If its not a DD then why bother putting ANOTHER engine together to hold you over until you get the 418 done? Also, the LQ4 has the smaller rods. Not sure I'd press my luck at 12-14psi. 10PSI and a good tune and a nice cam are gonna put you near or over 500 anyway.

The 418 is no big deal to fix, he just doesnt have to tools tear it down and rebuild. The 6.0 was just going to be a cam, ls6 heads, and drive and spray a little on it maybe but then the wheels got to turning like always and there was a good deal on an STS kit and then you need pistons and then Cody cant go half *** and needs a $500 boost controller and when is all said and done he could have towed his truck and 418 to lingenfelter and had them fix it for the same price as he is spending in the 6.0.
The good old domino effect with too much money and not enough sense. I know how this works for sure. I have an 05 truck with 14k miles on it and it is on its 3rd motor and had run maybe 1 month out of the last 10. I have only owned it for 14 months!

The GT76-90mm is what i plan to run on my 408 pushing about 15lbs for daily driving...

Parish didn't have a GT series he had the one below. His was a Q trim and is rated to 975hp and mine is the lower.
PT76GTQ
975HP
OC. .69, .85
Tang. .58, .68, .81, .96
PT76GTS
1100HP
Tang. .81, .96
Precision has a 67mm rated up to 790hp. Not sure if that is what he is talking about. I have not found any info on a Garret GT67 of any type. According to their sizing chart, if they had it it would be huge.
Alot of info can be found here Forced Inductions (sponsor on ls1tech)

STS GT67:
t04e flanged 67mm compressor with a P-trim (I have heard this is *not* a standard garrett turbo).
My GT70 (t04s 70mm comp on P-trim) was out of breath at 14psi and 594 hp
I believe it has to do with sizing the turbine smaller for the rear mount.
CORRECTION: They are both GT series by way of the wheels inside, but are "custom" for STS.
