GT67 upgrade
Well i install the GT67 turbo on my truck Thursday night and didn't get to try it out till the next day on my way to work. Well needless to say i was very disapointed. Truck ran like crap. Talk about turbo lag. I had a hard time reaching 5psi. I was ready to put the T60 back on. Well friday afternoon i was going camping hell or high water. I thought maybe with a load it would build boost. It towed like it was almost stock. On the way to the campground i notice my exhaust was getting louder. we didn't get there till dark so the next morning i cranked up the truck and crawled under. Come to find out there was a hole about 3/8" dia. were the exhaust hanger was welded to my Y pipe The owner of the campground had a mig welder and i patched it up and took a test drive. It's a little laggy but man when it kicks in I'm a happy camper again lol I'm doing the cam install this weekend coming then will have to do some tuning.

With the 6.0 Jerry you should be seeing kick in the pants boost at or before 3000rpm. If not, you need to really check for exhaust leaks. Even small tiny puffs have impact. Of course with the 6.0, that 60-1 must have come into boost before you started the truck so there will be a difference.
