From my experience I wish I would had gone with a T-60 from the get go. It takes all day to get this thing to spool but when it does, hold on. It just sucks for city driving and hyway at low RPM the truck just bogs a little. Also I still have the original Tune from Allen so I know that would have a lot to do with my trucks performance. My Denali XL is a heavy son of a gun though, the T- 60 might of had a hard time pushing her. Just my opinion, I never had a chance to drive a truck with a T-60 in it.

You are running a GT67 and what for an exhaust housing? We set mine up with a .81 A/R and we were told that the turbo should spool up pretty quick on the 5.3.

I see, so what are the driving characteristics of your setup?

Somethings wrong then. With my 6.0 / GT67 with .96 A/R I was making serious boost at 3000 rpm and building boost any time I got more than 20% throttle. Check for exhaust leaks imo.

Oh -- where are you getting your vac signal for the wastegate?

This is what i did today. I took the gt67 compressor off my leaky .96 exhaust housing and put it on my .81. Now i have boost from a dead stop and on top end. I love it. Kind of glad it screwed up now. .81 on the gt67 is a much better combonation.

HAHA...
I'm gonna be running a GT-76 with a .70 A/R housing on my 6.0L. After some dyno run's I'm gonna switch it to a .96 A/R and do some more dyno runs. We'll see which one has more under the curve power.
