Our customer wanted something a little different then the normal kit we build. ITs a GTK1000 48mm gate, 3" manifold, 4" DP After talking with them, and turbonetics I think this set up will fit the built. He is looking to make 750hp prior to nitrous.
We desided to build a 4" down pipe for this set up. Seeing how his truck and mine are the same year and style I figure it would be a good fit and what the heck love a challenge. We could have gone 3.5" and made the fit alot easier but if you going big, might as well fit the largest pipe that you can shoove in there. LOL... BTW 4" is max, there is simple no more room in that area, and there is a lip right uner the a/c accumulator that will need to talk to a hammer.
Just got the IC in for this setup, went standard location but with a 4.5thick x 14 x 11" core. 3"inlet and outlet... The size will keep the CFM's up and the thickness has the cooling covered..
All the AC lines, and water lines remain in tact and only the low ac line needs a little tweeking to the side. The only item that needs a little trimming will be the rear section of the inner fender.
Turbo is mounted slightly higher then standard, add clearance larer log and housing.
3" manifold
4" DP routing
48MM gate.
This pictures shows the difference between standard 3" and 4" tubing. 4" exhaust will need to be fabricaded or just dump. Turbo's are muffler devices. aren't they.
After this build and some other requests for larger and larger setups, we have desided to offer a new kit to our line up. The MONSTER. Just pm or email me to talk about your needs...
