15-16psi, 16deg timing, 93 &meth, 10.8afr, bref7 plugs. stock bolts and gaskets. i'm right at the point of lifting heads tho.

If you're planning that much boost, I'm going to take a WAG and guess that you'll be into that motor sooner vs later. Studs are a pretty good investment at high boost levels. Hold better and reusable. I've seen stock bolts pulled out with the heads still on the motor, and replaced with studs one at a time on a high boost diesel (~40ish psi). Might be something to consider. No doubt, I'd do it if the motor was apart.

I have friends that have ran up to 24psi on stock bolts and stock gaskets.

i wanna say KBracing lifted the heads on his 4.8 on 16 or 18psi?

few more did on 15-19psi..


more timing will deff help the issue arise faster tho.

I am currently running 14/14 timing/boost everyday on meth/93. Its to fun to stop...

If you ever seen coolant seeping from the head/block.. you will know something is up and time for gaskets/studs

Yep! push it till it weeps a lil, let it cool, back it off a couple and let er eat some more.
