Heat exchanger recovery time

Heat exchanger recovery time
I'm curious, I know there have been about 5 threads on HX fixes.
SO, for those that have done so, here's what I wanna know.
Everyone talks about recovery time. When that's said, explain. If you're at 20° above ambient, does it take 20 minutes to get back to 20° above ambient after a run?
If u upgrade to a CTS-V, does it only take 15 min. to return to that same hypothetical 20°?
What if it's a frozenboost? 10 min. to 20° above?
I'm sure some HX or setups, your above ambient may be different than my "hypothetical". Please put that.
Also, I'd like to know if you're running a Radix, like I will or a TVS 1900 or 2300. You get the picture. Also, I'd like to know your HX of choice, boost levels, pulley sizes, & HX temps u experienced at various boost levels. If you're sprayin meth, & your timing, I'd love to see that info as well. Hopefully, it'll hope not only me, but everyone who aspires to drop those HX temps down.
Thanks to any & all replies.

20 mins to recover to 20degrees above ambient?? mine takes less than 10 secs to recover back to ambient. I'm only running 8lbs of boost on a remote mount turbo setup with the frozen boost heat exchanger kit made for 650rwhp. My intake temps never get over 135degrees even at WOT in 102F heat..
And while cruising on the highway my intake temps hover about 7-9 degrees above ambient

Like I said, I used that as a example. That's what hypothetical is.
I coulda thrown any number out there or for "x" amount of minutes. I wanna see some improvement on a Radix by goin from its' stock heat exchanger to a CTS-V. Is so, what were they? Did it reduce that timeframe (whatever it may be) to ...
Or if they then went to a ...
I'm not nearly as concerned about cruising, as at strip.

I run a mp112 w/2.9 pulley@8psi. I have the oem us and a mustang vortech hx with a fan. I run around 18-20* above ambient cruising. On a wot run it takes about 20-30 secs to get back to normal. The thing you have to be looking into is keeping the iat as low as possible and when you run at the track to keep the iat raise slow.
