when it shifts to 2nd gear im getting boost creep i think. i should be around 10 or 11 pounds of boost all the time and in the upper gears im seeing 15 to 16 pounds of boost. what should i do? anyone have this problem. Thanks for your help.

 

I find it normal to see 1 lb higher in third than 1st and 2nd gear but with 6 lbs difference you should wait until problem is solved or at least adjust your tune for the higher boost. Make sure your waste gate doesn't get stuck or has buildup.

 

If you have a flexible bellows, make sure it isn't coming apart on the inside.

Where are you measuring boost at? What type of boost controller are you using? What are you observing boost with?

 

Im reading boost from the guage and the logs on Hp tuners. I only have a 2 bar map. if i need to modify the position of the gate im fine with that i just dont know where to put it.

 

What wastegate are you using and where is it? Are you running a mbc?
