Default Help with fuel pump/parts for tvs1900

I've searched but can't find a complete answer.

What's needed (fuel pump) to install a Roush TVS1900 on an '06 1500 5.3 non flex fuel?

I've read either a walbro 255 or aeromotive 340, but honestly I don't have a clue on what else is needed, like extra hoses, harness, etc.

Is there a kit that includes everything? Where can I order it?

The plan is to install a 3" pulley down the road so which pump is needed?

Thanks

You should be fine with a Walbro GSS340 (255lph) pump, does the Roush setup come with injectors? I would avoid the Aeromotive pump with your fuel system as I was advised by a Very reputable shop that builds custom fuel systems that the Aeromotive flows to much fuel at the 58-60psi that the returnless systems run at idle. Basically your idle fuel pressure will get really high.

I made my power with just a boost a pump bumping up the voltage......no pump swaps...think you're overengineering it.

BAP here too on 75# injectors, though I have the larger FF fuel pump.

Thanks man, it's good I asked cause I was thinking on the Aeromotive. The Roush comes with everything needed for NNBS trucks but since I'm installing it on a NBS a NNBS water pump & fuel rails are needed, plus the fuel pump as my truck is non flex fuel. It comes with 42lb injectors, but according to some readings they actually flow around 46-48lb or so

The Roush comes with a 3.3" pulley and in theory should get 8-9psi out of a 5.3. The plan is to pulley down to a 3" pulley and be done.

As for the boost a pump, how much hp can it handle working with the stock pump?

Oh and forgot to ask, is a new harness needed to run the Walbro?

my truck isn't flex fuel either, and was fine with a boost a pump and 60 lb motrons.

GM builds a ton of extra room into stock fuel pumps, for example my 502 ramjet crate motor is 510/580 in the paperwork the fuel pump they recommend was for obs 96-99 vortec 350's rated at 255hp from the factory, that pump has worked fine for 30k miles essentially doing double what it was designed for.

GM vehicles run at 4 bar in recent years (60 lbs roughly fuel pressure) injectors are rated at 3 bar (45ish) for uniformity.

I would call Kenne Bell (not sure how their customer service is), Lingenfelter or another reputable speed shop about how much the BAP will support on your pump. On their website, iirc, the single unit is good to 800hp, but obviously not every application is the same so I would talk to someone with experience with them.

I got the same set-up but I have 07 classic/flex fuel. I was told that the stock pump is good till 500HP. I dyno'd 407RWHP/425RWTQ on 20's and I build 10lbs of boost (live close to sea level). I had no pump issue and I drive daily. I hear of people using a boost-a-pump either Kenne Bell or magnavolt. I WOULD NOT go with the magnavolt, the ampifier shorts out before a year.

Oyeah if you want to pulley down, Im pretty sure you have to get the snout of the supercharger turned down by a machine shop.

Are you still running stock lines and FPR?
