Help with Gears, 4.10's not cutting it w/Turbo
#13
Man im at 10psi at around 4k, so it seems to spool ok. My biggest question is that one would think traction would be horrible, but I really dont have too much trouble.. I hear guys breaking loose on 40 rolls, I just go lol with no spin at all. So am I low on power, or truck just hooks lol I dunno. Oh and I run 28.5 inch tires on 18 inch titans

Does no one understand that a turbe needs a "load" to get its full potential?

If it makes you feel any better I cant hold my truck at the line very well either. The only way I can get it to hold is if when I'm done with my burn out I rev it in neutral a couple of times to help the booster get some vacuum in it. Even then it still wants to push through the line. I have 4.10's too. I just bought a used set of 3.42's that I'm going to try. I figure they will load the turbo harder when in 2nd and 3rd and maybe not push as hard. 2001 ecsb 402ci 4l80e gt4508r

When I come home from Iraq I can let you know how it works out for me lol. With 410's at 9-10 psi I ran 12.02. Let me finish tuning and do the gears and Ill let you know where I end up.
