put a drag radial on it or something, spinning aint winning, heck my 90hp toyota can spin the cheap runner tires.
my 5,000 lb truck will spin my stock 17's at 60+ mph and if my radials arent warm(28" tall on a 17 inch wheel) they will spin at 45, im not talking about a chirp, im talking light them up until i let out!

I run 3.73 in my truck but i am heavier than you also, and i run regular brakes. I can tell you that my brakes won't hold even with the shuffle.....if my tires are hooking i can build about 3 psi before it pushes. Idk if i would go all the way to 3.23 because you lose that torque to get you some 60' but then again might make up for it at the other end. I like the 2 step idea

Yeah im pretty set on changing gears now, Yeah Chris, I am scared of the 3.23s being too little of a gear for "all around" performance... probably scream on the highway or on rolls but i do want some gear for the 1320 as well lol. Maybe a 3.42??

Comments like that make me wonder how much power my SS wheels are sucking up...

Some combos just work differently, I can't explain it either. 53RUSSELL on here had a turbo on his 5.3 with 80e and 3.73s and was able to spin em real good at like 60mph. I think he said he ran 12psi. Was just a beast on the high end. IIRC he ran a 12.2 at 124mph lol.

Yeah smokeshow its crazy how different similar setups are lol. I spoke with Blue0453 and we are similar in combos and he blows his tires at 40 rolls and mine wont even chirp lol. He also has 3.42s as well

Maybe you just hook better... Line up with Blue0453 and you might find that he's spinning with all that power, but still behind you. lol

Good thing about your combo swerve will be that 408 putting out plenty of exhaust to spool that 88mm lol. So you guys think the 3.23s will be a complete turd or are they close enough to 3.42s to not be a noticable difference. I know spoolin said either one will be fine with a rcsb.. ?
