Default Help ID this turbo

I was given a t6 Garrett turbo but I have no idea of its specs. I assume it was originally for diesel because of the waste gate it has but I'm hoping I can change turbine housing and adapt it to my kit to see how it does. Wheel diameter is smaller than my 91 mm, it has .60ar stamped on front cover and 1.28ar on hot side. Looked up online and it kinda looks like a Garrett 4202 with diff hot side but I'm no expert. Here are some pics.

Yep...Its either a GTA4294 or a GTA4202. The 94 has a inducer of 70mm and exducer of 94mm and the 02 has a inducer of 72mm and exducer of 102mm.

yea or does it still have the tag on the cartridge? Should be a green metal tag from Garrett. Just need the part number which should be the second one down.

Do you have calipers? Measure the inlet, small size of the compressor wheel and the same with the turbine. That will tell you a lot about what the turbo will support.

This may sound sick but wrong end. The turbine wheels on both the gt4294 and gt4202 are the same. Actually that is the reason why they call them GT's is the design of the wheel. To go on...The compressor wheel is what you'll need to measure to see what one you have. Any which way. These turbo's would be great on a stock 5.3. Would make around 550-600rwhp. The turbine housing is the only thing that makes these things undesirable since the cost is high.

I might be going out on a limb is the turbo is for a Detroit Diesel. Only because of the two arrow circle on the outlet of the cold side of the turbo.
