Help! Need some advice on pcv and smoke at idle!

You may still need a restrictor. If it stops smoking when you hook vacuum up to the crankcase, that may be because the vacuum is simply helping pull the oil through the drains better. Might not seem like much, but its the little things that sometimes trick you with this stuff. Also, I'm sure its not fun with hot pipes, but you might want to try a compression check all around with the engine warm. Even getting it hot, then let it sit awhile, the pipes will cool a little faster then the engine, I would like to see #7 a little closer to the others, but it would be worth looking into. Got any pics of this truck? Sounds like a neat setup.
