I would suggest checking the crank pulley, and if you have not pinned it....DO IT.

in the first picture you can see how the belt actually comes down after the blower (driver side) and it is slightly hanging off of the pulley.

just as soon as it starts the belt is uneven coming up and down the blower. it never used to be like this, and ive check my buddys setup and its not like this either. ive been getting alot of belt dust and belt whine lately. the car is undriveable at this point.

Check your idler bearings....Check your balancer.

even when i put the metco pulleys on it does the same thing. the balancer will be checked tomorrow, what should it be torqued to again?

i know nothing about these things, but did the charger's pulley come un-assembled?

and are the 2 idlers in line with each other (looking from the top - down)? in the pic its hard to see..

i checked that as well, it is all the way down on the snout, i took it off and checked. i also changed it with a 3.7 pulley i had and it looked the same.

you know, the more I look at those pics the more I think your mis alignment is greater than it should be. When you took those pics had the engine been run? or was that right after you put the belt back on?

it was after the engine was ran, as soon as i fire it up it goes right back to this spot. ive tried taking the belt off and readjusting but it just goes right back.

is the pulley a one way deal or is it reversable for the "fool proof install"... again, i only wish i had your problem
