i know, i was happy to find the problem, but scared to know what it was. that would have made for BIG problems if it came all the way out.

no telling what damage was done unless you take it off and mic the crank snout.

Make sure you use a new bolt after you pin the crank. Those bolts are TTY.

I lost my crank bolt at the track.. I am lucky it was pinned. I made at least 1 track pass with no crank bolt shifting at 6500rpm. The crank was pinned and I think that is the only thing that prevented major carnage.

damn thats exactly what i was afraid of.... that would have been some MAJOR carnage.

I solved this problem on my truck by replacing the blower with a turbo
