Is this the cam specs that your engine currently has? 214/218 .559/.562 @ 114lc

This seems like a valve event issue. Maybe the cam timing is backed up?

Thats the cam specs...Slowhawk says he checked the I/C and he knows his stuff. I guess once we get a chance to run it in cooler environment (its starting to drop into the 50's at nite one in a while), it might give us some help...R/

I actually just checked the specs out on paper.I agree, the events are all wrong for this setup. It has a -12 degree's overlap to start which destroys hp up top.Wish I was involed in the engine building.

After this is driven for awhile maybe we'll put a better suited Cam in here. That will probly drop intake temps alot too. There is always hope in the future

IAT's seem normal for a mp112 but not sure on a mp122. I used to see 200*+ frequently with my mp112 pushing 13lbs on a 4.8. I later added 100% meth and a larger custom heat exchanger and was running 31* timing. IAT's were in the 170's with the mods.

You are a manaic. btw, that fan died.

I was chattin with xlr8nss yesterday about o2 switching. I was saying this code will normally snag you at lower speeds, idling, and so on cuz of lower EGT's with the headers. I then told him my EGT's at the Y-pipe. He's like holy **** those are high. LOL, my point is, it could be argued I have some poor timing events going on and causing some hot exhaust. However, I bet (just a bet no proof or real reasoning) your IAT's aren't gonna be out of control like above stated when pulling into 3rd gear with poor timing/cam events. To some degree sure, but 190* in 3rd? I am only a 112, but I can crank out 9.6#'s...instantly.

It isn't called a George Foreman grill for nothing you know. You have 3.0 Pulley laying around? Give her a go at under 10psi. (crank pulley may be doing you more harm than good) Holty reports his **** just keeps on pulling, SOTP is feels great all the way through 3rd. He's not breaking 9psi.

What are your ECT's?

IAT's that high make Baby Jesus cry. Ouch.

I don't have anything else to add, but that's definitely cringe-worthy.

It held up pretty good. I had used it on my racecar previously.

I have had the same problem with my twin screw supercharger. I had it running at 2.3 times crank speed trying to make more boost. The temp coming out of the supercharger before going to the intercooler was 270 degrees. It seems that when you overdrive these superchargers they become heat soaked really bad. In slowing the supercharger down to 1.8 times enging speed the temps went down to 220 degrees, but the boost went down 3 lbs as well. This is why after two different twin screw attempts I have elected to go the twin turbo route.
