the small 60mm exhaust wheel also helps me spin it too, but I could prolly spool a 80mm exhaust wheel just as easily being front mount.

e85 is fine at that temp, i ran it up at 250* iat, dont worry about it.

how much timing did you end up pulling out for such high IATs?
|
Cruising around town I see about 25 degrees over ambient (usually sits around 70-85 right now).
At the end of a pull at the strip it creeps up to about 145. Highest I have seen it was 160 and that was hot lapping a few laps. |

Its kinda hard to see in this screen shot, but with my hot air Kenne Bell super charger on 17psi, this run started at 130* Iat, climbed to 240* though the run, maintained 20-21 degrees of timing with only a couple tiny hits of KR... :jest: I would NOT recommend this! :jest: But it something I did on a mixture of 25% e85 and 91 pump gas ;)

you need to get a good front mount on that thing, your leaving free hp on the ground with those temps.

We installed a RX Super Chiller Sta on a 03 Escalade with 18# boost....left running 30* IAT2's lower than he arrived with. Kep the IAT 2's in the 70-80* F on the return trip. Where he would run 120-150 he was running 30-50* F below w/super chiller.
Also had another just below 700 hp at the dyno then Gainsville drag strip and here are his results: Originally Posted by Turbo99 On the dyno after 3 runs there was zero loss from heat soak, say day 3 runs w/o the chiller and lost 25rwhp. I also ran at the track last week and 1st pass 95* out was chiller off and going through the Maggie Heat Exchanger IATs started at 105* and ended at 160* run was 11.70 @ 118mph, next pass turned on chiller for 5 minutes and cooled it down still 95* out IATs started at 64* and ended at 115* and the run was 11.25 @ 124mph. So the chiller did its job and kept IATs down and the car pulled no timing and I was able to make my fastest pass yet in the middle of summer no less. 6 mph is a big jump and I lifted because it was a bracket race so should have been 126+mph. |

here is some good information, my supercharged corvette, just installed a procharger, no intercooler just methonal injection, 6psi of boost, intake temps start at 100* and end at 91*, i am spraying alot of meth though. one nozzle in the intake of the blower and one after.
stock fuel pump, stock injectors, bought the blower and built the bracket, i have 500 bucks in the entire setup |
