How far can i push it???
I have already lost one motor by to much boost and not enough fuel. Now that I have lowered the compression to 8.7 or so and had the motor balanced I am curious how far I can push it. I plan on adding alkycontrol and maybe some NOS gor out of the hole. I have also added a Dynojet WB, I also have bought SCT tunning software so I can get the AFR right on 11.5-11.8. I was hoping to get 18-20lbs, possible? I guess I should be asking Parish all the ?'s.

I dont see you being able to come near 18-20# on the street with a GT67 and 6.0. Trying to push that much out of that combo is going to be nothing of problems. Is the motor forged? Im going to start out with a 6.0 and GT67 until I get the 370 built. Then when I get to it I'll swap in the 370 and go with a GTS76 or something along those lines

If you want to make 18-20 you will be very near uncharted water. I believe only Parish and 2Tone have pushed it that far. Parish was using a megasquirt system and HUGE injectors.
What are the good upgrades for a 4L80 with out disassembling it-convertor, valve body, solenoids....

You don't have enough injector for 18-20psi. 42lbers will take you to 480 crankshaft hp assuming an 80% duty cycle, 58psi of fuel pressure, and using a BSFC of .65. That's about 10-12psi on 364 cubes.
To get to 18-20psi you need big injectors -- I run 75 lbers (rated @43.5psi) with two fuel pumps, a boost ref'd (1:1) fpr and meth. I believe Jim runs 96lbers. In either case you need a peak and hold injector driver (either a fly board on an MS or a stand alone acceleronics like I run).

just an educated guess, i could be way wrong, I would say a good safe boost would be about 12-14, then if that works out fine, maybe jump up to 15-16 later.
