How much boost will a 5.3 take

Damn 25psi! That's getting close to raising the bar, no head studs? Just a factory 5.3 with boost and cam ect

oops i do have head studs with factory gaskets. stock rod bolts and such though

does have stock plug wires also

he has a stock bottom 4.8 with 700+ to the wheels

Ive had mine up to 14psi with no problems and plan to go much higher. But boost pressure is all relevant to the setup. Chevy all the way, what kind of timing when you were running 18 psi on pump 93 with no meth?

Mine has been from 20-22 for a long time, i want to try it with 25

Yeah hes what made me want to do this. Hope to be able to run 12-15 without studs

yes. but for the most part any stock 5.3 will be similar air flow with boost pressure... different but not crazy different.

18psi 14.5 deg timing 11.8 afr. no knock.

Damn!! 3 bar OS? My ecu doesn't support a 3 bar OS apparently so Im stuck with a 2 bar till I figure something out. What turbo?
