how much boost will an ls2 block hold ?

from what i have read in the books dedicated to the LS motor, i have read 20ish psi is what they can take. boost is a measurement of restriction. so i guess the real answer is what kind of cylinder pressure can you make till you crack a sleeve. its a very stout piece. im planning on a 9.0: 1 365 with a tc78 on my V. shooting for around 17 psi. goal is around 750 to the tires. the killer is detination. esp if a cyclinder has too much pressure while the piston is near the bottom dead center.

****, Fireball on tech had his ls2 block up to around 1600 horses I think lol.
