How much power can you make with a Procharger before belt slip is an issue?
I an condsidering a 408 and a Procharger for my truck. I talked to a Procharger Rep on the Power Tour and he said that with the current kit the limited belt size would limit over all power due to belt slip and as far as he knew there were no kits to add a wider belt. I looked at the set up pretty closely and I am sure there is a way to add a wider belt but it wont be easy so I am curious how much others are able to make with the belt size the kit comes with. Thanks

I am thinking of going with a Procharger to do something different. I have had turbo'ed cars for 20 years and I loved it but now everyone is turboing everything. Another reason I want the exhaust sound. I have a 10 second car that is quitier than my wifes stock SUV. I am not saying that there is anything wrong with that I just want to hear this one!

Hi.
I think you have to worry about the boost you are makeing not the power. you can run the 6-rib pully's up to 12psi of boost with no problem, anything more I would change to an 8-rib.. Just my $.02. Good luck with your set up.
