How much timing are you running on pump gas?

You definately want to get that tune fixed. WAYYYYY too rich. Like tiffo60 posted, way too rich is just as bad as way too lean.

Yea I know it's too rich. We put it on and on like the second pull it threw that graph. Then we tried to lean it out not touching the timing and it fell on its face. IIRC timing was at a steady 10*. I just told him to flash it back over to the rich tune at that point and that we would work on it again in a few months. I can honestly sat that was the last time I have broke over 75% TP so I've never really been into that rich mixture much at all. I have eased into it several times in 2nd and once it spools the truck pulls like a beast at half throttle. I think once we get the chance to up the timing in congruence with leaning it out it should break the 500 mark

It broke up when you tried taking the fuel out, because of your lack of timing.
You should be able to run at least 14-16 degrees on that truck, with 11.5afr's and be very very safe for years to come. With that low AFR you have and timing, I would be worried about the egt's on that thing. Take out some fuel, and add some timing, she will make power.

Assuming they change and calibrate their widebands often enough. (It could be wrong for all anyone knows)

Go back when everything is good to go. Dewayne will take care of you. I'm sure you seen his twin turbo'd mustang there. He definitely knows what he's doing. He'll fix you up

Bump for this thread...lets get the timing/boost/compression discussion going again. OP, ever get this truck back to the tuner to work out that rich problem?

I'm wondering what some of you guys like sureshot and scooter k do to get so much timing into your setups. I just went up to 15psi and even at 9° timing its still showing knock here and there. AFR is mid-10s, meth included.

Get your AFR into the mid 11's, and timing to 14-ish. Then work from there.

My Lq9 on 10psi is around 13 degrees, we moved it to 15 at the track and it did not pick up any mph.

Also curious as to if this ever got situated. Ill pretty much be running the exact same setup here in the near future and would like to see how well it works out.
