My 01 GMC with the combo in signature drives great on the highway and through town. In the warmer months where my travel isn't excessive I drive my turbo truck more than my work 2011 Z71 truck. On the highway if i keep it 70-73mph then 20+mpg isn't a problem with the 4l80e and 14bolt. Bottom end sucks with the 3.42 gears, but the truck is fun. Can a 88mm big turbo be dd, hell yes. But don't expect superb fuel economy with the power output.

Not necessarily going for cheap I just heard mixed reviews on their turbos.

Alot of people tend to use turbos not appropiate for their engines's application and you get what some call a "defective turbo". Alot of PTs have been blown up but theres always a story behind why it blew up or cracked or what not. Owners of the turbo just never explain and just go bash on the manufacturer. I have always trusted Presicion Turbos.
