yup the 05 up LQ4s have the same rods as the LQ9s full float wrist pins

Damn, that sucks. If it makes you feel any better, I haven't caught crap the last 3 times I have hit the beach. Where do you go on?

Little off topic, but my buddy hydrolocked his Geo Metro last weekend and called me in for rescue. I brought a socket and ratchet to get the spark plugs out, and after about 20 minutes he drove it home.

I guess the 7.75:1 250cc cylinder couldn't bend the rod...

Would it be worth the extra $$ to get a L92 heads? On page 6 they talk about the LQ4/LQ9. Check it out.
