Ok wnet through the search, and still need a little help. Moving the iat out of the MAF. There was a thread that told you the color codes and had a simple drawing helping explain this process.

If you have the 5 wire MAF, its the TAN and BLACK wires next to each other on the end of the connector.

I am just about to hook up my water/meth, and MAF sensor wires do not like the ethanol. It can eat away at the wires. So I am moving that sensor to the intake and spray the meth after the maf.

What sensor are you using? Is it a new IAT sensor? It should be marked which is ground, or have pigtails coming off of it in which one should be black. I would imagine it DOES matter how its hooked up, but without seeing which sensor your using i cant be sure.
