Actually no, I tried a side by side comparison between the 2 styles with maybe a 1/2 degree variance at the most

I just went to napa and bought one for a cyclone and the pigtail to go with. Napa had it all in stock.

It's threaded copper looking with an element and little plastic cage around the element.

Just looked at the gm open element link. That's the same one I have but from napa.

Set the fail to 0 Hz, and let it set 1 of the following codes (P0101, P0102, P0103).
