Default Ideas on twin turbo size for 1000hp on 376-416?

What type turbos and sizes would meet my goals? I want them to spool quick but be big enough to support 1000 rwhp. Right now im running the 6.2 but some time at the begining of next year im gonna place a order with virginia speed for a nice boost built ls3 416. What do you guys think?

If you want twins some bb 70mm turbos should make what you're looking for and spool quick.

You have a 72 Q right now right? I think a pair of those and swap to .68 a/r housing would get you where you wanna be.

Viriginia speed is one of the top LSx turbo builders in the country....why dont you ask them since they are doing your engine...

I second the dual BB 70s

I'm surprised Kyle didn't recommend twin PT88s...he tends to overkill stuff

You have a lot more flexibility when choosing twin turbos because they work at the same boost pressure flowing half the air... It puts them into a completely different area of the compressor map, and 80% of the time I'd say its a better place for them to operate.

fwiw, i have twin bb 76's with .96 housing on a 408, no issues at all with spoolin. the 68's did spool faster, almost too fast for my liking, but just depends on what you're after.

any of the above is going to get you there.

good luck.

That is a badass car I would be all smiles if I can make numbers like that! Twin 67s I guess supply enough air...

Yeah Kyle I'm running the 72, what to you think of the new turbinetics Billet HPC GT-K turbos... Was thinking twin 750s? But they come with a .81ar exhaust.
