Master power doesn't make turbos for the US any more nor have they ever made a T88.
How ever, the Magnum T76's are good turbos and available in ball bearing too. I also heard that we should have some 80mm Magnums and larger turbine 76's as well very soon! Looking forward to seeing what they bring!

I know that master power doesn't make a t88, didn't there no longer sold in the us. I was being general about about the t88. How close do you think the Magnum T76 would get to 750hp on the Lq4.

How every, my distributor for them found another manufacture to build pretty much the same turbos (and is calling them Magnum), only with more options on sizes, ball bearings and stuff like that. They seem to be good turbo's. I have a Magnum T72 BB on my truck right now and working great! Check them out and let me know if I can help you with anything.

It seems like a t76 magnum might be a good start for me. Then the next question is P or Q trim and what size housing .96 or 1.00. Do you think that i would benifit from a ball bearing over the journal bearing for preformance not longevity?
On another note i been reseaching the magunm turbos and i have come across some talk the they might release a 80mm soon. Any one know anything about this?

I'd probable go with a .96 Q and BB if your budget allows. They spool VERY well. The last email I got said 45 days on the new M400 series turbos from Magnum. They are gonna be a T5 flange though and unsure on the size of the v-band out let. We'll have to wait and see what they come out with.
