Havent driven the truck yet...damn rain
But went ahead and installed the Caspers Volt booster. It was a direct plug and play install. Claims to boost alternator volt output an additional 2.2 volts once the TPS sees 70% throttle input. This may be a good inexpensive alternative to running a BAP. Granted it only boost 2.2 more volts, but its less than 100 bucks shipped. I see it more as an added insurance policy that there is no voltage drop when going WOT. I believe myself and Superado are the only ones here trying these things out. I searched on tech and seems quite a bit of car guys run them, even some BIG HP guys. I have heard this can cause the tune to go rich since it will boost the fuel pump output some. I'll post my experiance with it once I get some time behind the wheel.

That was with headlights on of course, a/c on, radio on. I think I may have caught it at just the right time then. It had never done that before.
If you had the headlight out with the headlight mod you would have been OK

Drove the truck today. Just as superado reported with his experiance, once I hit 70% throttle, the volt guage jumped up a good 2-2.5 volts. Not sure if this has affected the tune or not at this point. Hope to get the truck to Futral within the next month to have it checked to see.

casper makes great products- and he has fallen on some hard times currently with his legal battles over the o2 sims from the government.
i used many of his products on my grand national and his products are top notch
