Installed Roush S/C now I have issues...? HELP!
#11
Yes I did. It was in the tuning, but now I have an issue with the coolant mysteriously vanishing. Its not in the oil or blowing out the exhaust. I see no drips or puddles on the ground. The instructions state the system could trap large amounts of air but does not specify capacity. Does anyone know how much it takes? I've put about 2 gallons in it over the last month.

Uh o. I did not experience this with mine but I have heard that people had trouble with the coolant tubes that connect inside the manifold from the upper intake to the lower intake being too tight causing the oring on the tubes not to seal correctly. So you have put two gallons of coolant in the intercooler reservoir?

I had a problem with the coolant tubes that connect the upper intake to the intercooler and had to machine them down, if they're too tight they can distort the oring and cause a leak as stated.

This has me very curious. What exactly do you mean by "too tight"? Could you please give me more details about this? I'm thinking I'm going to need to disassemble mine and take a look inside. When I bought it, the upper and lower where already together so I never even looked inside.

Here are the pictures from the install instructions. There are two tubes with o rings on them that connect the upper intake to the intercooler inside the intake. I did not have to modify mine they went in fine so I don't know if you have to grind the tube to make it fit or smooth out the intake bore where the tube slides in to.
