He has a valid point to some extent. A slightly higher intake temperature is not going to make that much difference...reason being is the air density doesnt change that much with small temperature changes, and the density is what the compressor cares about. I was talking about a pressure loss through the pipe, which is more significant than drawing in slightly warmer air.

I havent argued about his knowledge just him trying to act better than others. we can all learn from each other so be thankful we can talk and dont belittle others. he didnt like attacks like his own. Thats what i told him in pm as well. but none the less.
the intake will be such a small change either way that you could do several things to your truck to compensate for that power loss. its heavy and has boost left. you can make up for power and keep an efficient intake system that isnt a tiny filter crammed behind the radiator
