I picked up my stuff from treadstone performance, stainless on the hot side of IC, CS, aluminum for the TB to the MAF.. Was very satisfied with it

I use aluminized steel for my cold sides all the time, mig or tig works fine. I just paint over the welds with some aluminum high temp paint and look great.

I MIG'd my mild steel charge piping... then it had it HPC coated inside and out. Worked for me

I used all 3" 16 ga aluminum from Ebay. What are you doing to it that it is too soft for?

It's just all squishy lol is the only way to explain it

and half the pipes aren't round which sucks

my aluminum off e-bay has worked great! not a one coupler has come off or leaked. maybe you are over tightening the clamps????

It sounds like a bad lot. It obviously is being oval and all, but it was probably improper heat treating. What grade aluminum is it?

I just used muffler pipes and chopped up 180 deg mandrel bends thoroughly cleaned and painted - mostly cause my old man has a muffler shop and the stuff was all there, but also because i'm a cheap bastard
