Question intercooler questions

Does anyone have any info on putting some kind of delay in the line to the intercooler pump to keep the pump circulating for a set amount of time after the key is shut off? Where would you put just a manual switch?

You could use a turbo timer to keep the pump running after you shut the truck off. You can find them on ebay for 20-30 dollers.

Thats what I was thinking or you could use a thermal switch but I think a turbo timer would be more effective.

I got an idea for a manual switch. I was just unsure of where to splice it in so as to not backfeed into the fuel pump. I think I got it, now.

Diode lets voltage flow in one direction to prevent backfeeding.Diode to isolate fuel pump from coming on if using fuel pump wire going to IC relay as a trigger or tap onto positive side of IC pump wire at relay.Make sure switch is rated for 15 amps or use another relay to carry the load if using a small switch.Fuse with 15 amp where u grab power to turn on pump to protect in case of short.
