Coating is great as a barrier protection when wrapping... the metal will never come in contact with the wrap... which can soak up moisture and keep it in contact with the header until it evaporates during warm up...

I'm excited to see things start to come together. I'm really going to take my time this time around and make sure that I don't cut any corners when doing the reassembly. I want to clean everything up really well as I put it back in (seeing your truck made me jealous Bill ).
I'll let you know if I need a hand with anything....otherwise, we'll definitely have to meet up once this thing is running again!
